If you're one who enjoys snuggling up in a soft, toasty blanket when the temperatures dip, you're sure to love the new Heat Holders® Thermal Oversized Throw/Blanket. I know I do! I have long been a fan of wrapping myself up in oversized throws when it's chilly outside, so I was thrilled when the team at Heat Holders® offered to send me this newly introduced item to review. It did not disappoint!
Luxurious Thermal Blanket
What makes this blanket so special? It's actually a combination of form, function and simplicity. Not only is it beautiful and easy to care for, it feels great against your skin and does an outstanding job providing warmth - in part due to its unique fabric and in part due to its size!
Softness
The minute you touch this item, your definition of 'soft' in the context of a blanket or throw will probably change. I have long owned several throw-style blankets that I would describe as soft, in that they are not scratchy. However, this one is different. It takes the concept of softness to an entirely different level.
This blanket is made from what the company accurately describes as "luxuriously soft fur fleece" that is dubbed as HeatWeaver® fabric. Don't worry - it's not actually fur. The fabric is actually 100% polyester, but it's not like any polyester I have ever felt before. It has a fur-like feel and is very plush. A word I would use to describe the softness of this throw is 'soothing' - which is not a word I would ordinarily associate with a blanket. It fits, though.
Warmth
Not only is this blanket incredibly soft, it is also very warming. As a matter of fact, it is designed to be especially efficient when it comes to retaining heat. That means that it'll do a really great job helping to keep you warm, even when there is a definite chill in the air.
Size
It's also really big. Measuring 70¾" x 78¾", there is plenty of room to completely wrap yourself up in this blanket. Or, if you're feeling generous, you may want to share space under it with your significant other or canine companion. My 16-year old dog (pictured here) loves it! She can't quite jump up on the sofa anymore, but she is able to nudge the blanket down to the floor when she's ready for a nap.
Simple Care
As an added bonus, the fact that this wonderful throw is machine washable makes it really easy to care for. Whether you use it at home or carry it along on your travels, getting it clean is easy work!
Keep Warm With a Heat Holders® Throw
I have long been a fan of wrapping myself up in oversized blankets and throws when it's chilly outside.
